Bertazzoni water dispenser not working
No water at the dispenser, water that trickles, or water that will not stop. The path is short and every part of it is ordinary — and the commonest cause of all is a filter nobody has changed.

Five ordinary causes
What this usually turns out to be
Cheapest and commonest first, which is also the order we check them in. They sit hundreds of dollars apart, and only the unit settles which one is yours.
-
A filter at the end of its life
The single commonest cause. It restricts gradually, so people adjust to a slower dispenser without noticing until it stops.
-
A frozen line in the door
Water sitting in the tube through the door freezes if the fresh food compartment runs too cold. Trickle then nothing, and the fix is as much about the temperature as the tube.
Refrigerator cooling & defrost repair from $185 -
The inlet valve
Fails closed and you get nothing; fails to seat and you get water that will not stop. Both are ordinary parts.
Ice maker repair from $165 -
The supply behind the appliance
A valve partly closed during other work, or a line kinked when the machine was pushed back. Free to fix and easy to miss.
-
The dispenser switch or its control
Least likely and last, though a paddle switch that has worn is an inexpensive repair.

01
How old is the filter
Six months is the usual life. Change it before anything else.
-
02
Has the ice maker slowed too
If so, the shared supply is the suspect rather than the dispenser.
-
03
Is the supply valve fully open
Behind or under the appliance. It gets closed during unrelated work.
-
04
Is the fridge running very cold
A frozen door line is a temperature symptom pretending to be a plumbing one.

About Bertazzoni water dispenser not working
The fastest diagnosis is what you can see
Change the filter if it has been more than six months, and check the supply valve behind or under the appliance is fully open. Between them these two account for most dispenser calls. If the ice maker has also slowed or stopped, that is a strong hint the problem is the shared supply rather than the dispenser itself.
A short path with few parts
Supply valve, line, filter, inlet valve, tube through the door, dispenser switch. That is the whole system, and it is diagnosed by working backwards from where the water stops. Because the ice maker shares most of that path, whether the ice has also suffered is one of the most useful things you can tell us.
The filter, honestly
It is the answer often enough that it is worth changing before booking anybody. A filter restricts gradually, people adapt to a slower dispenser without registering it, and the day it stops feels sudden. Six months is the usual life and in a household that drinks a lot of water it can be less.

Questions about bertazzoni water dispenser not working
I changed the filter and now there is nothing at all.
Usually air in the line. Dispense several quarts steadily to purge it — it will spit and surge before it settles. If it is still dead after that, check the filter is fully seated and locked; a filter a fraction short of home will block the flow completely rather than partly.
It runs slowly and the ice is small.
Both symptoms sharing one cause: restricted flow. Filter first, then the supply valve, then the inlet valve. It is worth fixing before the ice maker plugs its fill tube and becomes a second complaint.
Water keeps dripping after I let go.
A few drops is normal. A steady drip means the inlet valve is not seating, and it is worth attending to promptly — a valve that will not close can eventually mean water where you do not want it rather than just a puddle in the tray.
